fa Herbal Drugs پژوهشي Research <span style="font-size:9pt"><span minion="" pro="" style="font-family:"><b>Objective</b>: Dental plaque, a flexible white or yellow-gray substance, significantly contributes to periodontal diseases. This study aims to present medicinal plants used in traditional Iranian medicine for controlling and treating dental plaque.</span></span><br> <span style="font-size:9pt"><span minion="" pro="" style="font-family:"><b>Methods</b><b><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><span new="" roman="" style="font-family:" times="">: </span></span></b>In this review study, keywords such as medicinal plant, traditional medicine, and dental plaque were utilized to search SID, Google Scholar, Megaran, PubMed, and Scopus databases.
