It is an important ingredient in several traditional herbal formulations. This study was done for qualitative and quantitative standardization of the Aloe-Emodin compound in Aloe sinkatana plant extract.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;span style=&quot;line-height:115%&quot;&gt;&lt;b&gt;Methods:&lt;/b&gt; TLC (Thin layer chromatography) and UV-visible spectroscopic methods were developed for both qualitative and quantitative standardization of aloe emodine in Aloe sinkatana plant extract.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;
&lt;span style=&quot;line-height:115%&quot;&gt;&lt;b&gt;Results:&lt;/b&gt; The results indicated that TLC and UV-visible spectroscopic methods are simple, accurate, sensitive, precise, and reproducible.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br&gt;
