Chamomile is a medicinal plant renowned for its therapeutic, nutritional, and health-promoting properties. Its essential oils and extracts contain bioactive compounds, including chamazulene, α-bisabolol, and flavonoids, which contribute to its pharmacological effects. Chamomile demonstrates a broad spectrum of medicinal activities, such as anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anxiolytic, digestive-supportive, antimicrobial, antifungal, immunomodulatory, anticancer, and dermatological benefits. It is also commonly consumed as an herbal tea or infusion for nutritional purposes. To maximize its therapeutic potential, further research and evidence-based application are warranted.
